Infrastructure Australia has released the , which, for the first time, has expanded to cover the challenges and opportunities in providing Australia’s social infrastructure. As part of this new development, the Audit includes a necessary focus on social housing as an important part of social infrastructure.
Âé¶¹Éç welcomes the inclusion of social housing in the Audit, and that, in considering the implications for housing and social housing, has drawn from Âé¶¹Éç research. Âé¶¹Éç’s enhanced commitment to cities research through the Cities Research Agenda will bring further understandings and a broader evidence-base to the sectors highlighted in the Audit.

Findings from the will inform the initiatives and projects in the annual Infrastructure Priority List and reforms in the Australian Infrastructure Plan, to be released in 2021. These documents will guide the future of infrastructure reform in Australia.
